Miracles Help Others

Each one should give according to what his heart has decided, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 

2 Corinthians 9:7  

One day, during office lunch hours i went to a food stall to have lunch there. When i got there, i immediately queued up to order food. While waiting for my food to be prepared, i suddenly saw an old woman asking for food from the people who were there. The old woman tried asking from one person to another, but no one responded. In fact, she also ordered food from the waiters at the stall, but they didn't give it because the old woman had no money. I kept my eyes on the old woman who was asking.

The woman kept trying to ask to some men who eat and she walked over to me, and i invited her to sit down as there happened to be an empty seat next to me. I thought, someone wanted to order food for her so i invited her to sit but she doesn't sit.

Unfortunately, no one helped her.

She turned around behind me, and stand beside me and said to me: *"I want something to eat, I'm hungry, haven't eaten yet". Then i told her to order what she wanted, and i looked at a waiter and asked her to serve the old woman. And the waiter asked the old women what she would like to order because she knows I will pay. 

I started to eat my food, and while hearing the old woman order, i was counting my money in my heart and said hopefully enough. Then when i was counting the money and thinking, there's a voice in my heart that says: *"Don't worry, if you want to give to someone, don't count it, give it sincerely, if God gives you the opportunity to do good, then God will repay you". I took a breath and smiled. 

After the old woman getting everything she ordered, i raised my head and asked the waiter. How much it is? Nineteen thousand rupiah, said the waiter. I nodded in relief, because it turned out that the money i brought was enough to pay for the old woman's food and mine.

The old woman held my shoulder and did not just say but like to pray for me, she said; *"Thank you kid, i wish you a lot of luck" and i said ameeeen. After that she left. I finished my food, paid and went back to the office. 

Short story, suddenly that night someone transferred money to my account. I opened my m-banking, and checked the amount of money 100 times what i paid to pay for the old woman's food. How i was very surprised and also grateful to God. 

And what touched me was, at that time i was in need of a new cellphone with a large enough memory to support my work in the office because i have to always be online, and the cellphone that i have a touchscreen often has problems and i find it difficult to type messages. I also talked to a friend the other day that i needed a new cellphone because it was hanging up. You have to change a new cellphone, said my friend. I said yeah but i don't have money yet.

So, end of story...

I used the money i magically got to buy a new cellphone. My tears fell, i thanked God many times because God helped me just in time. So i wrote this testimony using that miracle cellphone. Wait, what? Yeah a miracle cellphone

The message is: "if you help others, then God will also help you. If you pay attention to people who need you, God will give you what you need."
